Dr. Lopez Palacios earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the VA Miami Healthcare System in neuropsychology and her two-year post-doctoral residency with focus on neuropsychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine within the Division of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Neurology.

Dr. Lopez Palacios has extensive experience evaluating adult and geriatric patients with a broad range of neurological, psychological, and medical conditions, including neurodegenerative disorders, cerebrovascular disease, traumatic brain injury, movement disorders, epilepsy, and complex mixed etiologies. She has conducted both pre- and post-operative evaluations for deep brain stimulation (DBS) and Epilepsy surgery evaluations. Her background working in diverse clinical settings has gained her increased knowledge of bilingual neuropsychological assessment.

Dr. Lopez Palacios has conducted neuropsychological evaluations for expert testimony in medically complex cases throughout the country, including those involving traumatic brain injury, PTSD, and multi-trauma presentations. She has presented on various neurocognitive topics at national conferences such as NAN, INS, RP, and ACRM.
