Dr. Lopez Palacios earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at VA Miami Health Care Veteran Affairs Hospital in neuropsychology and her two-year post-doctoral residency with a focus in neuropsychology at the Division of Neuropsychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Neurology, University of Miami - Miller School of Medicine
Dr. Lopez Palacios has experience in evaluating a wide range of adult and geriatric patients with a variety of neurodegenerative conditions, cerebrovascular disease, TBI, movement disorders, epilepsy, and mixed etiologies of both psychological and medical presentations. She have also conducted pre-and-post DBS and Epilepsy surgery evaluations. Moreover, her previous experiences with diverse populations in different settings have allowed me to gain profound knowledge in bilingual neuropsychological assessments. Additionally, she conducted neuropsychological assessments for expert testimony in medically complicated cases throughout the country, including TBI, PTSD, and poly-trauma. She has presented on various neurocognitive topics at a variety of national neuropsychological conferences, such as NAN, INS, RP, and ACRM.
